About Us

The Friends of the Costa Mesa Libraries provides financial and public support for the Donald Dungan and Mesa Verde Libraries in Costa Mesa. The support we are able to provide is made possible by our wonderful volunteers, members, donors, and bookstore patrons. Please consider becoming a Friend to help support our Local Libraries.

The Friends of the Costa Mesa Libraries supports the Donald Dungan and Mesa Verde Libraries by:
* Funding programs and materials not covered by library budgets
* Sponsoring speakers and programs of interest for all ages
* Stimulating community awareness and use of our libraries
* Creating public support for our libraries and the services they provide
* Supporting legislation favorable to our libraries

The Friends of the Costa Mesa Libraries manage two used bookstores:

Mesa Verde Library Bookstore
Located behind the library @ 2969 Mesa Verde Drive East

Donald Dungan Library Bookstore
Located inside the new Donald Dungan Library @ 1855 Park Avenue
